That mail article says he's going to take legal action against us, and if that doesn't work, as a last resort, he'll hand in a transfer request. How in fucks name is handing in a transfer request, when trying to force a transfer, considered a last resort? Especially when the other option is taking your club to court, stupid article.
He knows he will most likely lose in court (not to mention burning the bridges and making a total ass of himself once again) and the transfer request will be quickly rejected with the club under no obligation to sell. There is no point in him doing either.
I still don't see why he'd force a move to arsenal through. Yes, they are a better side, but I think we've as good a shout as them for top 4 this year if we keep suarez. Also, he might get to play CL at arsenal, but he'll win fuck all.

i know how good a player he is , i know how much it might fuck our season if he leaves but at this stage i could handle him going so that this shite is over and we can move on with players who want to be here .Players who can lead us to the promised land of 5th place .

My sense is that we have a number of players we want to get rid of before others come in, and we quite clearly have a price for Suarez, and that its not orders of magnitude different than what has been offered, it's just more.
My worry is that we may get exactly what we want but leave it quite late to sort all the replacements out, which didn't work so well in the past with the current team. If we repeat what we did last time around, either ending up quite clearly weak in defense, or ending up diminishing our attack, the 10M extra will be at the expense of our season. On the other hand, with no intention to make a significant investment, and if you believe we aren't going to be competitive for 4th anyway, a consistent run of not overpaying for players, and getting top dollar for the ones that will inevitably leave (coutinho for instance, next year, if he repeats his form from last season), we'll eventually get where we need to go. Not the most exciting process to watch, but there you go.
I'd be shocked if he was still here, but I wouldn't be disappointed, especially seeing who we've been linked with thus far.
