We should stick in a bid of £40,000,001 for Bale, just for shits and giggles - its not going to be accepted, so we'll never have to pay it - but it would be funny.
 
That hypocritical little wizened wanker Wenger allows his club to leak news of their bid to the media, then several of his squad are paraded before the press to say how much they'd welcome Suarez coming, then his club leak more info, then he comments again, and then this tit has the nerve to complain that Rodgers is talking publicly and he won't ever do that. He actually tries to pretend he's above it all.


He insisted negotiations would remain in-house and admitted he was perplexed by Rodgers’ decision to speak out.

The man who signed Luis Suarez for Liverpool, Damien Comolli, believes it’s understandable that the striker wants to join Arsenal because Liverpool cannot match his ambition.
The Reds have rejected two Arsenal bids for the Uruguayan striker – most recently £40million plus £1, but he continues to be linked with a move to the Gunners – as well as Real Madrid.
Former Reds director of football Comolli oversaw the £22.7m deal that took Suarez from Ajax to Anfield in 2011, and he told the BBC of the saga: ‘It looks like a very messy situation.
‘When I was there, we knew it would be hard to keep players like [Jose] Reina, [Daniel] Agger, Luis [Suarez] if we couldn’t get into the Champions League.
‘Luis is extremely ambitious and with all due respect to Liverpool, they’re a top-eight side, not top-four like Arsenal.’

His stupid attempt at giving fictitious evidence is half the reason Suarez got that first ban under his belt.
 
Apparently somebody (Sky Sports?) was saying Tottenham would make Suarez their no.1 target if Bale goes to Real, but Comolli's been saying they wouldn't have a chance either - no CL football and couldn't afford the wages (he reckons, despite the fact that they'd just have trousered whatever obscene fee Real fork out for Bale). The little worm is just settling some scores.
 
It's being reported in Sky sports Transfer news, that he remains unhappy that second wasn't accepted and determined to leave.
 
Suarez' whereabouts next season is entirely in the hands of Liverpool FC.

Given that nothing has developed for more than a week now and the interviews both Rodgers and Ayre have given I think Arsenal are going to have to stump up a fair few quid more if they're really serious.

It's in the interests of newspapers to keep the story going but I must admit to a certain amusement that Suarez' reputation seems to have taken a back seat simply because a London based club are interested.

Arsenal haven't been helped by the monstrous fee Madrid are offering for Bale. I noted Rodgers referenced it almost immediately as a comparison. I bet the Arsenal directors are shifting nervously in their seats.

But he's quoted elsewhere as thinking that its a bad move for Suarez! Further proof that the trolls in the media are twisting things to suit whatever agenda they like or are being paid to like.
 
I've seen 2 big articles in the last few days, which were nothing but shit-stirring pieces of guesswork by an ARSENAL fan, with no new info and no new quotes (except one line from Wenger saying that he hopes the clubs can come to an amicable agreement). The whole thing is laughable.
