Luis Suarez pwned by the Lizards and is Staying, and has said sorry to BR and teammates

All these articles talking about Suarez's previous in taking his club to court, thus the likelihood of him doing it again, fail to mention he lost the case in Holland.
Groningen was a small club that didn't really have a choice anyway, so they sold him, but it was for twice the amount Ajax initially offered. Plus we might not be super rich but we can certainly afford keep him another year.
Taking Liverpool to court will only be detrimental to him. Might even put off Arsenal from going after him.

He loses every single court type adventure anyway.

Ornstein has been all over the place in this saga so I dont think there is any reason to believe a story that quotes sources close to the player. Wouldnt surprise me if the cunt went down that road though.

Transfer request? Rejected bitch

David Ornstein ‏@bbcsport_david 27 Jun 12
Van Persie to resume talks with Arsenal when back from Caribbean break. He's keen to stay, with or without new contract. Ball in #afc court.

Yeah, thats my point tbh. You'd think Ornstein as a Beeb reporter would be more on the money like Ben Smith.
Ornstein was also certain that Luis would talk to Arsenal after the 40 mill bid.

i'm not saying we sell to arsenal but surely we can't keep a player who starts trying to use legal avenues to force a move. if will be disgraceful if this is what he tries .

and one way or another surely we have to draw a line under this soon .

How's the line not already drawn? Arsenal have made 2 offers, both have been rejected. LFC have said an offer of their valuation has to be offered and even then he may not be sold.

Well i mean if he isn't being sold under any cirumstances then we need to say that and force him to announce he accepts this and will stay .

Let's be honest, even if there is a week to go in the window , if madrid come in we'll probably sell . I doubt the club are really as certain as they say , i mean gerrard has given a few interviews these last few days asking him to stay -he still fears luis could go .

I think this is going to get even messier before the window ends .

We need to learn from Dortmund who decided not to strengthen their main domestic rival even if it means Lewandowski walks away for free next summer. Now that they refused to sell him, it's not a 100% certainty he will leave for Bayern next summer - in a year lots of things might change. The player was unhappy and publicly said he feels "betrayed" - Klopp only smiled and dismissed it, saying that actions speak louder than words and Lewandowski is 100% committed on the pitch. So will be Suarez, I have no doubt about it. If he starts going down the road of sulking and refusing to play, he will kill any remaining chance of playing for Real Madrid or Barca ever in his career.

So I think we should stay firm, not sell to Arsenal at any price and most importantly not make the mistake of taking anything Suarez or his agent seriously. Will we be "unsettled" during the season? Only we allow ourselves to be.

I think that club have made it clear through certain journos that that is the party line. He'll only be sold to abroad. Even a 50mil+ bid from a Premier League side would be rejected.

I'm not sure downing tools would do him much damage. I mean clubs already know he's not your average baller. He's a fucking head case. I do think, probably naively, that Suarez would have more self respect, that he is too competitive to just give up. Should he not get his move away I think we'll still have the same player on the field.

We have said we are not going to sell and forcing anyone to do anything is kinda the wrong approach.

He's got to be its his World Cup year.

By the time his case is over, he'll be lucky if anyone touches him for 25m nevermind 40

What case?? Has he taken it to court?

I'm personally taking all this paper talk with a massive pinch of salt, half of it is just copy and nothing more, some of written with a great deal of devil making....

The way I read it is we wont sell cheaply to anyone especially Arsenal, not a problem.

If you have a disgruntled but valuable employee you work to change that environment you don't hand him to your rivals especially if a binding contract exists.

I'm quite sure that all involved at Anfield will be doing just that and if it means a difficult period has to be worked through then so be it.

Now is not the time for faint hearts and equivocation, selling Suarez to a rival would set us back even further in bridging the gap between where we are and where we want to be.

Ronaldo won't go back to United. Not in the next two years anyway.

Not sure about that, mate. Brylcreem Boy may not be overly keen on the idea of rejoining ManUre in the post-Ferguson era but, as against that, relations between him and Perez are at a very low point and Perez isn't going anywhere any time soon. I don't think we've heard the last of this yet.

i just noticed ,when looking at pics of today on getty images, that new profile pictures were taken for all our players bar, yes you've guessed it ...suarez !! it's a sign ! armageddon

Im not 100% the situation wouldve been the same had Dortmund not already lost Gotze to Munich though. They really had no control over the Gotze move as Munich met his buy out clause but had that deal not gone through then perhaps Lewandowski may have got his wish. It seems like they should have had a look at the release clause in Gotzes contract because whether they had control or not it still led to them strengthening their main rival this summer,. If something like that happened here and Arsenals one pound extra bid did in fact trigger a release for Suarez we'd be calling for Ayres head. I really dont want to see Suarez in an Arsenal jersey this coming season. Madrid I could live with.
