Luis Suarez pwned by the Lizards and is Staying, and has said sorry to BR and teammates

I think IF we really, really have to loose Suarez I'd run a policy that:

1. RM have until 14th August to meet our demands
2. The demand is cash only - £50M no add-ons, just hard cash
3. Privately I'd set the bar at anything over £45M is a bonus
4. I'd have my replacements sounded out, ranked and tapped-up ready for the last 2 weeks of the window

We should have ourselves a line of 'Odemwingies' at the gate come deadline day just incase, that was a fun end to a transfer window.

RM (Ancelotti) are interested in Zlatan Ibrahimovic it is reported in Swedish newspapers. Good. Hope he goes there. Poor Suarez in that case.

REAL MADRID are trying to sign Luis Suarez on the “cheap” – at £25million!

That’s £15m below Liverpool’s valuation of their star striker.

Liverpool insist they want Suarez to stay but know how much they want for the Uruguayan if he leaves.

And that is creating a dilemma at Anfield, as Real are believed to be Suarez’s preferred destination.

The Spanish giants are also aware of that but have indicated they won’t spend more than £25m on Suarez, 26.

It means Liverpool are reluctantly having to consider interest from Premier League clubs, particularly Arsenal, who have already offered £30m.

But the Reds are hoping to Kop closer to £40m if they lose the fight to keep the controversial Suarez.

Arsenal are also in the market for Real’s Gonzalo Higuain, Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney and Everton’s Marouane Fellaini.

They are now said to be willing to meet Fellaini’s buy-out figure of £22m but the deal is being held up by the Belgian’s personal terms.

It is claimed the attacking midfielder is seeking a pay-off from Everton on the remainder of his contract and also has to negotiate terms and a signing-on fee with the Gunners.

Ex-Liverpool striker Robbie Keane believes Suarez has already burned his bridges at Anfield.

He made it clear while on Confederations Cup duty with his country that he wanted to leave Anfield.

And Ireland hero Keane said: “Luis Suarez has been fantastic but he will probably leave the club.

“If you come out with the statements that he has been doing, then I think it’s going to be hard for him to stay.

“Whatever the reason is behind him wanting to leave, he’s at a massive club, so where would he go from there? I’m really not sure.

“The Champions League is important to a player but if you’re playing for a massive club like Liverpool, eventually they’re going to be back in the Champions League and they need players like Suarez to help them achieve that.”

Nice, respectful words about the club from Keane there.

I'd take the £25 mill.if they throw a good player in as well, one who'd cost almost as much to buy. Otherwise I'd hardball it. If Suarez wants to go there that much, he and they between them will find a way to get the deal done.

This is where we see what our club is made of. We need to be like levy and show we won't take no shit regardless.

So they want to give us what we paid for him, despite him ripping it up in a far superior league to the one he was playing in before. Yeah right. Thankfully we don't have soft touches in charge of the club unlike recent years.

Absolutely not. That's already 3 games into the new season and any signings going down to the wire always end up with us gettung fucked. No time for the new player(s) to get in at least one game or some pre-season time to get to know the team either.

I love the way we've got 4 players in already and quite a few nearly sold/loaned. Just need the final pieces of the jigsaw in the next 1-2 weeks.

It's 50M, if not then he will play the whole of this season and we can start talking again next May.

Final pieces of the jigsaw?

Fuck me, I reckon we're still trying to find the corners.

What that article is saying - if any of it is true - is that Suarez is staying at Liverpool. He knows it too - which is why he tried to kiss up to Arsenal. Boy I hope he scores from the opening game or he's in for a rude awakening. He was given 100% support by the fans for wearing the shirt ... now he's going to actually have to earn it.

Apparently his name wasn't sang at the game yesterday and when a few did try to start up his song they were told to pipe down.

He's suspended for the opening games.

Liverpool are reluctant to let the unsettled striker leave, with boss Brendan Rodgers in 'constant communication' with the South American, but Suarez has reiterated that he will push for a move if he can further his career elsewhere.
He said: "If I receive an important offer to progress my career, I will study it. Some clubs have asked about me but I hand questions over to my agent. I am no stranger to rumours.
"I always want to improve. That's why I left Ajax for Liverpool.
"But this club needs to fight to enter the Champions League and, when it doesn't happen, it damages the morale of any player. So I've suffered.
"It is hard to view the Premier League every week with never a chance of winning it.
"On top of that, the English media do not understand me. The controversies with (Patrice) Evra and (Branislav) Ivanovic were decisive. There are always extra questions when people analyse me.
"After the Evra incident, it was very difficult to convince people about the 'real' Luis Suarez. Things had improved but then the incident involving Ivanovic was another blow.
"Had that not happened, perhaps I would have been regarded as the best Premier League player last season."

time to start dihing out the fines every time the gobshite opens his mouth, this is getting riddiculous

They missed out the part (surprise) where he says Liverpool are a big part of his heart and that he loves the fans, not that it changes much.

I'm a fan. If Luis Suarez told me that he loved me, I'd kill him dead. It's just as well they left that part out.
