I think that's the biggest problem with our squad - we do have too many players who can only perform when things are going our way.

you need players like that all over the pitch if you want to take points away from home, players that will force the issue and grab the game by the scruff of the neck when things are going tits up.
you look at lucas' stats and it is impressive for passes completed but how of those passes were made to open up the opposition (far more risky) rather than a pass to simply keep things ticking over to retain possession?
you look at liverpool's possession stats and they are impressive but how much of that possession was in the opposition half?
it certainly hasn't helped with the loss of players like alonso but the willingness to impose yourself on the opposition should be a team wide mentality rather than passing the buck to the 'star players'
