As I have alluded to on here several times I'm going to be running the London marathon on 17 April 2011. For those of you that know me or have met me, whilst running used to be something I was good at, that was 24 years ago and in those years, the abuse I have meted out to my body via drink and shit food has been a feat in itself!
So this will be a challenge to me. I'm running for Kids with Leukaemia and this is because one of my close friends children has been suffering with the disease for over 2 years now. Some of you might remember me saying I had a friend who has had 3 stillborn children and cannot have any more children, and it is her only daughter who has this disease.
There are a number of us who are running as a team and we are called Team Katie - well thought out that eh? So if any of you can spare any cash, doesn't have to be loads, just a couple of quid here and there will still help, then if you could visit the link below and add your sponsorship.
