London 2012 Olympics

She equalled the time that the 100m hurdles final was won in at the last Olympics.
Totally amazing.
And yes FAP!

Another gold.
Women's Double Sculls.

Fourth time lucky for Katherine Grainger.

She'd picked up three silvers over the previous three Games.

Brilliant fight for bronze by Alan Campbell. Bunch of decent rowers from Norn Iron it seems.

All that rowing up and down the river Bann seems to be paying off.

Amazing day GB.
Amazing.
Cant decide who is most fappable Ennis or Pendleton.
Youd fucking die happy between the two of them.

i'm over the swimming (well i was never really that into it ) . Don't get me wrong , they're fitness levels and strength is very impressive but there's either too many events or it's too easy to compete in multiple ones because it's just stupid that so many of them can be looking to win so many medals in one games . Yes Phelps is amazing but surely it's ridiculous that he's even in a position to win whatever it is , 6, 7, 8 medals in one games . Is there any other sport where that can be done ?
The max you might see in others(athletics , rowing, cycling etc) is maybe going for 2 or 3 and even then they're usually taking a gamble that they might be stretching themselves too far.
And then some of the events go on for days and days just to win one set of medals , yet the semi decent swimmers seem to have a final they can enter every day. I mean why is there only one football comp ? why don't they have a peno shoot out comp , or a keepy up comp or free throw comp in basketball ? Give them more chances to win medals .

Anyone see the stinker of a decision in the boxing against the yank (Errol Spence)? He fucking beat the tar out of his opponent in the last round yet lost it, and the bout. The referee fully expecting him to have won (with everyone) lifted his arm when the decision was announced before swiftly lifting the Indian's arm. Shockingly bad.

The poor lad was distraught afterwards.

Quite a few of the experts have been calling for major changes to the scoring system after some of the dodgy results in the boxing.

There was one fight where the guy floored his opponent 6 times in one round and still lost that round (and the fight).
