As usual for an Everton team with Pickford in goal Liverpool continue to be just out of arms reach
What a fucking game ... I mean, I don't want to pick MoTM here but there's 3 players who I think stood out big time.
Adrian - 9 - 3 really good saves to ensure we continue the clean sheet streak. Excellent back up goalkeeper.
Williams - 7 - A really solid performance, keeping Everton's left flank rather quiet (most of the danger came from Walcott's side).
Phillips - 7 - he's struggled at times, but was fine overall. He's playing with no real protection, and only Gomez in the backline with some experience. Can't really ask for more?
Gomez - 9 - I mean, he's showing himself as a fucking big time player game after game. Considering how he started the season, the last few games have been unreal.
Milner - n/a - Lets hope it's not a serious injury.
Pedro - 7.5 - struggled at times with the physicality but he moves the ball so well. He's positionally sound, and sees the game well. He should move in the summer back home and he'll be a very solid La Liga CM imo.
Lallana - 9 - He really led the midfield well. Great press, great ball retention, smart use of ball etc ... Impressive performance and he was an example on the pitch the whole game for the kids.
Jones - 8 - until the goal, he was ok. I thought he was ponderous on the ball, and wasn't moving the ball quickly at all. However that goal was sensational and afterward, his play obviously picked up. So happy for him ... great to see more local lads staking their claim to a role in this team's rise.
Elliot - 7.5 - Digne is no slouch, and Elliot really had him worried. Ran his socks off, very disciplined and really smart use of the ball. His corners were shite though.
Minamino - 7 - solid debut. He'll be fine on this team -
Origi - 7.5 - really good performance from big Div too. He loves playing the BlueShite.
SUbs:
Laroucci - 7 - he got stronger as the game wore on and Walcott tired. Hesitant at the beginning but for a debut, can you really complain?
Ox - 7 - welcome back ... glad he's fit and ready to contribute to our thinning midfield lines.
Brewster - n/a - some good touches, and knocked Mina over. Hope he has a good loan spell.

Dude we made 11 changes, they made 1-2 which probably strengthened them & we still won.

Redcafe is pretty special as well. They're absolutely furious over the praise we're getting in the media.
Amazing performance. There's a huge amount of talent in the reserves but they don't get tested enough at that level. Jones - lovely goal. He's a cocky little fecker but that's not a bad thing, he just needs to fill out and build up his strength but he's a good prospect. Chirivella is a clever player - it's just a shame he's behind so many exceptional players, but he's got real talent. Phillips showed why the coaching staff want him to have a chance to progress - he's a very good defender. Elliott - he's just ridiculous for that age. The beauty of it is he's such a massive fan he'll do anything he's told, so he's going to improve rapidly. Well done to the senior players, each of whom played like mad to help the others.
Thats because the ref kept the cards in his pocket. I saw several cynical fouls that should have been carded. Example the foul on Jones by Schneiderlin.
