Doesn't help Wenger's cause that in Cech he has the absolute worst goalkeeper in the league. I've been saying it for some time, he's absolutely dreadful. You may as well pick one of those cunts from Arsenal Fan TV and give him a pair of gloves.

Agree and it’s very sad to see considering he was one of the best before the bang on the head.

Wenger is now doing that Cantona thing of trying to improvise aphorisms, which involves beginning with a random sentence, then realising you don't know where it's leading you, then desperately trying to work out the logic, then thinking 'oh shit, I'm French, they'll accept it,' and just hoping no one asks you what it means:

"When you have just the trousers on it's easy to take the trousers off as well. When you're naked completely you have to find a shirt and try to put it on again and then you're dressed normally again".

That's just the kind of thing you need to say to convince people you haven't completely lost the plot. Keep it up!

What you DON'T want to do is get out of bed in a hotel room, stark naked, and wander off to the toilet, only to realise that you've actually ended up out in the corridor of uncertainty, and the door's locked.
That would make more sense in the context of football, rather than what he said

I went sleepwalking once when I was in Caella on holiday with my first ever bird. We were staying on the 14th floor and I woke up naked on the couch in reception (ground floor) about 4am, with the receptionist and hotel porter shaking their heads at me.

They gave me a bed sheet to spare my blushes, and I had to go back up in the lift, and knock on our room for the ex to let me in.

She didn't believe my sleepwalking story either.

Lee Dixon turned up to some sort of arsenal supporters meeting, but rather than sit back with some popcorn he thought nah fuck it and participated in the gang rape his old boss. I'm starting to pity the guy, especially after everything he's done for us.

I don't quite buy people like Bould excusing themselves by saying they aren't given the power to change things. If you're a defensive coach and you're not allowed to sort out the defence, you leave. You don't just sit there, year in, year out, like a lemon.

Lots of Wenger's staff have contributed to the malaise by sticking around, picking up their pay, and never challenging the man. He's not single-handedly been responsible for his team's decline. All of those twits sitting either side of him, doing nothing but shrugging their shoulders and rolling their eyes, have played a part, too.

Mind you, I think Wenger is going to do what George Costanza did in Seinfeld - after he's finally left the job he'll just turn up again as if nothing's happened. They'll have to move and change their name to escape him.

Arsène Wenger believes that he is the best man to take Arsenal forward and has told his coaching staff that the club will have to sack him to bring an end to his 22-year tenure.

The Arsenal manager is facing increasing pressure to stand down at the end of a dismal season in which his side have slumped to sixth place in the Premier League, 33 points behind the leaders Manchester City. The Frenchman, though, is undeterred and will resist any attempts to get him to agree to a dignified exit this summer. Wenger has never broken a contract in his career and having signed a new two-year deal last summer wants to see it out with one final campaign at the Emirates Stadium.

Please keep him arsenal
