Great win. Top again. Pardew lost.

It can't get any better. A 0-0 draw between Chelsea and Spurs with lots of injuries and cards would be nice
 
No team will play well in every game. The teams that win things are the ones which can dog out a win on a poor day. Coutinho's injury is a major embuggerance but on the day we put even that behind us and brought the points home. Onwards and upwards.
 
Hopefully Coutinhos injury isnt that bad, but it probably will be with our luck.
Fingers crossed though.

Thought Origi was excellent. Maybe the injury to one player will see another step up.

Yup it's good to see we have a bit of grit to grind out a result against the bus parkers although I thought we played ok in the second half whilst not being at our fluid best. Another clean sheet too! And 11pts clear of the scum
 
That's the sort of game in the past we draw or get suckered 0-1. Starting to breed that winning mentality throughout the entire club. it's the sort of game United used to win which made you think, 'Why the fuck don't we push like that?'. Excellent.

He's a genuinely genial guy but at the same time he's not one to cross. I remember one of his first games when the Chavski bench tried to have a go at him for being too animated on the touchline. He just stood there and told them where they could go and put themselves. Me likey.

I always feel a little jinxy so I hate listening to the reds on the radio (I didn't have access to tinter klacker today) It got to 65"mins and I bitched out for a smoke - Said to Mrs Astaire "If they score - Don't text me" I got back 20 mins later just time to hear Milner score a pen and my wife had a massive grin on her face. I said "I knew my jinxy trick would work" - She said "You're an idiot" - I totally am but fuck it! For the time being " WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE"! 🙂
 
Did I see Klopp grab Lovren by the scruff of his neck and growl something down his ear at the end?
