Insua is not as bad as Traore but he has been poor.
There really isn't much in it tbf.

Traore was better. At least he could run.

this pathetic shit wasn't a suprise to me even against reading. they're just embarrassing themselves now don't they have any fucking shame? the blow dart for lucas is long overdue now. and fuck you aswell insua, fuck you fuck your coaches, fuck whoever told you to become a footballer.

I wouldn't single Insua out for criticism - he was far from our worst player tonight.

Although he scored, I thought Steven Gerrard was a candidate. We all know what he is capable of, but he certainly wasn't achieving it on tonight's showing. Constant lazy passes that went to blue shirts. Add to this the ineptitude of Aurelio, Lucas and Kuyt and you have a simply awful midfield performance.

Just when we thought it was safe to watch LFC again...another fucking horror show.
Still, should be a wonderful atmosphere at Anfield for the 3rd round replay vs the Championship side.

Rafa is fucking shit. Lucas + Kuyt + Aurelio in a midfield is shit and always will be. There's just no pace or any dynamic ability. Not even the ability to receive the ball on the run and play a pass on the run. Kuyt is anti-football and skill, I wonder if he'd even make the Stoke team. Sad that he is Rafa's favorite player. All in all = grrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I see Gerrard has "rescued" Liverpool again. Isn't that the point of good players?
I don't think the goal made Stevie the hero - it was a speculative effort from some way out which I think the keeper would have got, had not Dirk put him off by waving his boot at the ball as if he was going to deflect it. The TV commentators decided this was a clever dummy by Dirk but I was not convinced. ;D

I'm also not convinced the dummy was intentional. Although, if any striker would be unselfish enough to try it, it would be Dirka Dirka.

The dummy was intentional, and anyone who reckons otherwise is a myopic clown
When it comes to you and Kuyt, it's like the exact opposite of Sven & Riise ...

So you dont think that was an intentional dummy?!

I dunno what Dirk was trying to do (deflection/dummy) - he turned around to celebrate as if it was his goal, so I assumed he wanted (or thought he did have) some sort of contact on the ball - Only one way to know for certain is to ask the man himself ...

On the subject of Kuyt, I wonder if his long periods of shit form can be attributed in part to the fact that he knows Rafa will pick him no matter how badly he plays.

It was as much Kuyt's goal as it was Gerrard's. And maybe even more so Kuyt's to be honest as that shot had never gone in otherwise.

Gerrard was and is way below his usual self sadly.

He REALLY needs to turn on his best performance against Spurs. It's about freaking time.

I thought he made good progress in the Villa game but that's been kind of shaded by last nights more or less abysmal effort.

Please?

Oh my fucking Christ, any fucking cunt with two working eyes and a rudimentary understanding of football would know with 100 % certainty that it was an intentional dummy

Let's not allow you to make yourself look stupid *again* hmmm?

I'm in awe, you are definitely one smart man Brendan. G-d bless you. Without you, I wouldn't stand a chance to understand the game. Thanks.

Btw, why did Kuyt celebrate as if he had scored? Surely, someone with 'two working eyes and an understanding of the game like you' can explain?

Oh dear, this is now officially 'pathetic and embarrassing'

Very well done

I tried to avert this, but you wouldn't have it, and now everyone is either laughing at you, or just feeling a bit sorry for you

Not what either of us wanted, but here we are

Maybe drizzt could knock out a few screen shots to prove if the dummy
was intentional or not? Oi, Drizzt!!

It was a clear dummy tbf.

Yeah, it was.

Poor the LeTall, he has been warned about his shit anti-Kuyt posts by better men than me, but he seems incapable of helping himself, so we here we have - again - another wince-inducing car-crash of a thread to clean up

Such a shame

You see, there is the same issue with very smart posters like yourself. I'm not anti-Kuyt, I just don't think he's good enough in current form to be starting almost every game for a struggling Liverpool team. He's a good player, one I want in our squad but I don't think he should be our starting winger - if anything, he should be Torres's partner in a 4-4-2. How that makes me 'anti kuyt', I don't know - perhaps you can explain that to me?

Oh, and for a player who struggles to control a ball, you're telling me he wasn't trying to put a foot on the ball after calling for the pass, and then celebrating as if he had got a touch on the ball? I guess if he was asked, we'd know if it was an intentional dummy or not. Until then, you cannot say either for sure ... Though some smart people will claim they can ...

there is nothing stupid about wanting a different type of player to kuyt on our right wing. torres always ends up there by the end of the game and it's great watching some 'explosiveness' there when he is. i would absolutely fucking love lennon there but that is never going to happen now.

Fuck, I can't be arsed watching you make an even bigger twat out of yourself

Carry on!
Translation: You're not anti-Kuyt and I'm wrong, but let me pretend I'm not with another witty, "Look how funny I am 6CM" comeback

Well ... Judging by how people act on the site when people say that, you would think it is.

Do a vote

Democratic, like

See how many people think Kuyt's dummy was intentional, vs those who think it was not

You'll find that anyone with the slightest fucking clue about football, will vote 'intentional'

Go on, do it. You can't possibly make yourself look any more stupid, so what have you got to lose?
