I'm amazed how this lineup is totally different to the original one, just because Masher has decided not to play.
Anyway, I'd sooner see Poulsen and Gerrard in the middle. The only logic is that Poulsen had the added protection of Masher alongside him, without that he's left doing the holding job alone and with him being new to league it's a bit harsh throwing him in. That said, there's not much justification when it's clear Lucas is just as inept at the same role.
