Said this a million times last season.

Everyone was on about Rodgers getting us playing some "lovely football". Well that was never they problem last season. Our problem was, we couldn't score in a brothel.

Although having said that, we looked ok in that department last night.

And I said last season millions of times our movement was shite and we didn't flood the box

Pass and move is nice, but unless people gamble what's the point?

Anyways, after 90 mins against FC Gonads I'm loving the new positivity and all that shizzle, even if it is a fleeting dream.

I think its fair to say that in the early part of Kennys time we played some wonderful football that didnt always get the results it deserved, but gave us great hope for the future.

For me though that was totally overshadowed by the shite football we played for the most part in the latter part of Kennys time.

TBF it was poor in the final third of the pitch but IMO less so elsewhere. I didn't notice any great overall change of style. On the contrary, it's a valid criticism of Kenny that we *didn't* adapt as time went on.

He speaks so well and conveys great intelligence, it's clear to see he really knows his stuff and what he wants.

I hope you're right Ryan.

I know a fair bit about him but not seen nearly enough of him to judge, despite me understanding & agreeing with exactly why Rodgers wants him.

If he is that good he'll make 15M seem like a bargain, cos players who can truly pull the strings in that position are simply remarkable & rare as fuck. They dictate the tempo of the game, if Allen does that then Stevie won't feel the need to & can play more like he did last night.

One thing that stood out to me was the he really, REALLY doesn't want Agger to leave.

Yep definately, that was one big positive from the interview for me, I hope this firstly puts pressure on the business not to try sell him, and secondly lets Agger know he's really wanted here, so if an offer is accepted, he could say no himself.

I smell a waft of sarcasm!

No, I'm naturally dead optimistic. I hate thinking we've got no chance, as I have been as this transfer window has plodded on... and I was genuinely impressed with what I watched.

Also, they haven't half improved our lounge.
