It's just good that we've lost the sickliness that seemed to descend on us when we encountered some problems. Good positive attacking play in response, a goal back and a fair amount of goal mouth action. Coutinho is still playing those silly balls into the area towards no one in partiular when there are better options out wide, and Mignolet is trying hard to get himself sold - how that idiot got a degree is a fecking mystery. But overall that's a promising first half. We've got to go out there now and really push the tempo.

I've often thought Mignolet's wife have him too much credit when she told him to stop overthinking his decisions on the pitch.

I don't think he's saying that, and I think you probably know that. There's just no call for the constant droning pre-game about how bad we're going to do. And who was actually having a go, really? Your response in this thread is exactly why people get riled by it, because you've come back with "I told you so's" like it's win-win for you.

We had equal reason to be optimistic, given recent form. I swear to God we could win the league and the Champions League and you'd still be predicting the demise of the team for the next game.
