Can one of the tactical genious on here explain to me what exactly Lucas was doing when the goal was scored. Who was he covering, in what way was he actually helping the defense? Because i fail to see in what way he was useful there...

Yes it was all Lucas fault.

He made an initial challenge on Bolasie but could have closed better after he first attempt failed. Got caught ball watching.

He was the third player napping on that play though - let's not pretend the chance came off him.
 
Shame on Mystic and I for calling this logically and thinking about all the factors rather than just blindly believing we'd batter Palace.

Decent response since the goal, but can't see where our goals are going to come from. Can see us maybe getting one, but not 2. And I'm not confident in keeping them out for the rest of the game.

It's going to come down from magic from Ibe, and Firmino coming on and having an impact. Likewise I think we'll get one, but not two, unless Palace crumble.
