Kuyt, Gerrard, Torres, Carra ....all performed well. But i expect them to play well.

But the real surprise was Lucas. That really was a very good performance from him. He has improved a great deal under Roy. Credit where it is due.

I move for a stay on calling him the cunt....at least till he performs poorly again. I also hope we hold our promise on not calling Roy with names.

Torres for man of the match. The second goal sealed it for me. Otherwise i would say Kuyt had a case for man of the match.

Maxi and Meireles may not have pace, but they both have a good touch and can pass the ball and that helps when the team is set up well.
