What he has proven is that he is not Liverpool quality and only on a Liverpool forum and by Liverpool supporters is he somehow considered a quality winger( and even we can't agree on that). He does not have share any attributes of the games best wingers( such as pace, skill, ability to cross the ball or even control the ball) and yet people want him occupying our wing position. We talk about him having a form slump, but really that is all he is capable of and then sometimes when the team is playing good he'll pop up with a tap in goal.

Actually he's right about Kuyts pace, skill and ability to control the ball. We really need another real winger out there like a Downing or Young if we want to really push on and challenge for the title.

Yeah kuyts lack of pace ,"skill" and his a ability to miscontrol the ball 9 times out of ten must have kept the Bolton defenders up all night last night. He is not a right winger and shouldn't be playing there for Liverpool.

Kuyt has been a good servant of the club in the fact that he gives his all and is a good proffessional, but that does not change the fact that he is not a right winger and we really need someone alot better there if we are to continue to progress. It's nothing against Kuyt he gets picked every week and tries his best but unfortunately his best is not good enough

My point was really that these last couple of years he's played week in week out no matter how bad he played the previous game. And I know he didnt start last week which is why i said did say that Kenny might be doing things differently than our last two managers and will actually bench or sub kuyt which didn't really happen in the past.

Fair enough, but after performances like today( which he is very capable of reproducing ), his place in the team should not be automatic. And if we are looking at competing with the best in England and Europe we cannot have kuyt as our first choice right winger

Or maybe we just bench him when he's playing rubbish( which is most of the time when he plays on the wing) or buy someone who is actually a right winger to play on there.

Henderson has done better today, good in tight areas, Kuyt has been woeful

Carrol was always offside then and Kuyt still plays him

kuyt played 30 of the 45 minutes we were rubbish in and didn't "lead", or change anything during those 30mins. Henderson wasn't involved much but did the simple things good and will definitely need time, and if Henderson is not the immediate answer for right midfield we should be looking to get someone quick cause kuyt definitely is not the answer aswell

Yeah kuyts lack of pace ,"skill" and his a ability to miscontrol the ball 9 times out of ten must have kept the Bolton defenders up all night last night. He is not a right winger and shouldn't be playing there for Liverpool.

Kuyt has been a good servant of the club in the fact that he gives his all and is a good proffessional, but that does not change the fact that he is not a right winger and we really need someone alot better there if we are to continue to progress. It's nothing against Kuyt he gets picked every week and tries his best but unfortunately his best is not good enough

My point was really that these last couple of years he's played week in week out no matter how bad he played the previous game. And I know he didnt start last week which is why i said did say that Kenny might be doing things differently than our last two managers and will actually bench or sub kuyt which didn't really happen in the past.

Fair enough, but after performances like today( which he is very capable of reproducing ), his place in the team should not be automatic. And if we are looking at competing with the best in England and Europe we cannot have kuyt as our first choice right winger

Or maybe we just bench him when he's playing rubbish( which is most of the time when he plays on the wing) or buy someone who is actually a right winger to play on there.

Off course I was just trying to say that they last along time, and I was really responding to your " we all know he'll come good comment". Why do we have to watch him every year go through a rubbish streak and wait for him to come good.

In the past we played him no matter how he was playing and eventually he'd pop up with a goal, he would keep his position even though he would be rubbish for a good number of games. But now we have a good squad with plenty off quality and we don't need to keep playing Kuyt until he eventually comes good, his bad patches last forever and we need to look to bring someone else in or use Kuyt sparingly as he shouldn't be playing in a team that is hoping to challenge for the title.

Kuyt was very very poor, constantly losing possession and not offering any real quality at all.Absolutely done nothing today to warrant another start next week and we really need someone a lot better.I think Kenny( unlike the last couple of managers who played him no matter how bad he was playing) is starting to see it that way aswell and hopefully he we not be playing week in week out.

Henderson has done better today, good in tight areas, Kuyt has been woeful

Carrol was always offside then and Kuyt still plays him

kuyt played 30 of the 45 minutes we were rubbish in and didn't "lead", or change anything during those 30mins. Henderson wasn't involved much but did the simple things good and will definitely need time, and if Henderson is not the immediate answer for right midfield we should be looking to get someone quick cause kuyt definitely is not the answer aswell

Henderson was very quiet yesterday and didn't really do much,and one thing you can say about dirk is that he never hides and is always trying to do something. No one can doubt dirks heart and love for Liverpool but i don't think discussing his ability or lack of quality should be considered as hate. I don't think Kuyt should be our winger in a 442 and at the moment our options for the wings are still very limited but the the quicker we find a better option than Kuyt on the wings the better.

I do agree in regards to Kuyt, I was hoping we were gonna sign another genuine winger for the right wing. I hadn't seen much of Henderson before he signed and its gonna take time for him to settle but we really should've got someone that could've moved straight into the right wing position and provide some quality and width. I don't think Kuyt offers much outwide where his weakness's are exposed and we really should be looking to bring in someone as Kuyt shouldn't be our first choice winger.

What he has proven is that he is not Liverpool quality and only on a Liverpool forum and by Liverpool supporters is he somehow considered a quality winger( and even we can't agree on that). He does not have share any attributes of the games best wingers( such as pace, skill, ability to cross the ball or even control the ball) and yet people want him occupying our wing position. We talk about him having a form slump, but really that is all he is capable of and then sometimes when the team is playing good he'll pop up with a tap in goal.
