I'm fine with benching Dirk Kuyt. I hold no affinity to him whatsoever and have been one of his stronger critics over the years. The facts are that Kuyt, like it or not, has proven himself to Liverpool with a decent return each year. Henderson hasn't proven anything yet.
The frustration is none of them resemble a wide-player in the traditional sense of the word. A bit of contrast would have been nice. The Henderson transfer is baffling all round.

i agree squiggs completely, hendo hasn't proven anything. But based on this season so far, regardless of minutes played, all kuyt has proven is that hes in his usual slump.
I like kuyt, hes a great professional, but we need to at least give hendo chance to play himself into confidence. With kuyt, he takes 3 months of fucking abysmal performances to play himself to form. Id rather give hendo 2 more games to start to see if he can make an impact, then i'm happy to rotate

What he has proven is that he is not Liverpool quality and only on a Liverpool forum and by Liverpool supporters is he somehow considered a quality winger( and even we can't agree on that). He does not have share any attributes of the games best wingers( such as pace, skill, ability to cross the ball or even control the ball) and yet people want him occupying our wing position. Sorry I apologize for last weeks comments dirt kuyt actually played awesome against arsenal, he was our best player out of the 15 times he touched the ball he didn't fuck it up 14 times I was watching another game. The reason I go on about him is you clueless fucks love him and think The Lying Rag shines out of his ass. He isn't a winger, no. He's played in the wide attacking role for both Liverpool and Holland under numerous successful managers, and contributes statistically every single year.
He's a valuable squad player to have around, and deserves far more respect than you're seemingly capable of expressing.
