So will the entire match be on Sky Player afterwards?

This is the third match in a row I'm going to miss because of work. Shit!

Cannot for the life of me work out why some people have Henderson over Kuyt in their starting line up.
Let me help you there. Kuyt and Carroll cannot play in the same side, especially against opposition like Bolton and especially at home. We're going to need pace and pacey movement of the ball to win games such as these...exactly what we've lacked in recent years which explains why we've dropped so many points in games like these.

i also have a reason!!

Kuyt has played like a moldy abortion the last 2 games, whereas henderson has just been "meh"

Can they not? So we didn't hammer Man City 3-0 last season with them in the same side? Furthermore if you really believe Kuyt and Carroll can't play in the same side then surely the out of sorts Carrolls drops to the bench rather than Kuyt.

Also Henderson isn't particular pacey and full of movement. He isn't a goal threat like Kuyt and is generally nowhere near as productive.

Basically i feel starting Henderson ahead of Kuyt when we need to create chances and score in a home game is daft but hey ho, we all have our own opinion.

Maxi would be a better option than either of them for this game IMO. Though I guess he may also be seen as a useful impact sub.

Of the two, I'd say kuyt is the more out of sorts. Henderson offers more pace and movement than kuyt, as do i in fact.

As you say though, opinions...

Henderson's got about as much pace as me ma.
So your ma's quicker than kuyt as well.

But Kuyt can actually do stuff like score a goal, deliver a cross, put himself about etc etc.

but kuyt didn't do any of that vs arsenal or sunderland

hes off form

He only played about 20 mins against Sunderland and played wide left against Arsenal.

Kuyt is better than Henderson until proven otherwise.
Spot on.

theres a difference between being completely average and shite

kuyt was abysmal vs arsenal. Wide left (which he didn't play) or not. The fucker couldn't trap a ball. See his ratings in the thread. 5 average. Hes in his usual poor performance phase and as usual posters are saying he should be picked for this goalscoring ability he has. Conveniently forgetting hes an alleged "big game player" (which this isn't)

if he plays and scores then great! i'll eat my words, but he's not a RM and he never will be, which is where most people are playing him. I'd rather play maxi.

Maybe the club noticed the way poulsen helped to make lucas look like a good player, and then thought henderson would have a similar effect on kuyt

Henderson didn't exactly pull up trees against Arsenal or Sunderland either.
Exactly. I just don't understand why people have Henderson in the side ahead of Kuyt.

I dont mean to pick on Henderson, he's a young lad settling into a new(and big) Club but ffs, Kuyt a proven International who's consistently scored, assisted and proven himself in a Liverpool shirt.

People can dress it up whatever way they want, Henderson offers more mobility and pace but you can bet the Bolton defence would rather face Henderson than Kuyt.

I wouldn't be totally against that either mate.

me either, but for my formation we need an AM, and henderson is the one in the team for it

*shrugs*

i'd play maxi most of the time at RM as hes a clever bastard
one obvious joy is we no longer need to worry who starts on the left... ;D
Such joy is diluted by the fact we're spent £16M on a Henderson and now all think that freebie Maxi is the better player.

I think henderson should play central today get his confidence up (as we're missing ming). Until he starts performing consistently then...yeah...maxi out wide.

And i just don't understand why people still have dirk kuyt staring in the team. Kuyt has been disgraceful in his first two games but the kuyt fan club still call for him to be in the team , can someone from the kuyt fan club please tell me how many more performances their willing to except from kuyt like he's produced against Sunderland and arsenal, and dont tell me it's a one off game with him,I'll tell you what's a one off game for him it's playing good. I can't wait for the day that he's out of the team for good.

At the expense of Carroll? I think we need him to be honest. Suarez could get lost against Cahill otherwise.
