Confidence would be my guess.
I hate outfield ex players saying that. They'd be quick to slag them off if they tried to catch it & missed or spilled it.
When you watch a shot from behind the goal camera it moves around in the air swerving & dipping, almost moving in a circle. No way you want to be trying to catch it hit as hard as these players do.
Doing OK here but this is one of those just-give-us-the-3-points fuckers.
Solid first half. I like the way we seem to always have a good alternative to pass to. Good stuff so far. Now keep the pressure and forget about Dropping 20-30 mtr to controll the game.
TAA has been really good, he's supported well, spotted the danger and bailed out his centre backs (or notably, Matip) a few times. Ditto Robinson.
Milner has been good too. Can gave the ball away in dangerous areas four times that I counted, he played a couple of good forward balls and got the goal, but his general play in our own half has been atrocious. AOC has made a few good turns and breakaways but he needs to do more to support the attack, he's a good player who can turn quickly and make stuff happen, he needs to believe in himself more and stop playing it safe.
Karius again has been really good, hopefully his progress continues.

I'm not entirely sure Chamberlain was holding back out of choice, following the goal we pushed even higher up the pitch & he was notably involved in the pressing & passing into their half a lot more.
Noble should have been sent off and zabaleta booked for stamps on Milners right ancle . Poor the James.
There’s a danger that Karius will be our keeper next season and half of SCM will explode.
Is there any scenario half of SCM will not explode?
All of SCM if Mignolet is number 1 next season.
