I think we were just unlucky in both of the last home matches. We did more than enough to win both games, things just didn't go our way.

A couple of positives - Klavan is developing into a reliable CB, and Karius has performed well in goal lately.

I hope he continues, there was one point where he nearly caused a catastrophic fuck up, he slid into divert the ball from one WBA player, without being aware of what was going on around him, as it happens a WBA player was running into the path of where he was clearing the ball to, with what would have been a clear run on goal. Luckily we recovered.

He's fairly good on the ball though, I like him when he's in possession and when we have the ball alot, he's just prone to diving in and not thinking, which is alarming at his age and with his experience.

The sending-off was a classic Old Toilet home town decision from Mike Riley and that so-called "nightmare" was the result of Sami playing through illness, because even a half-fit Sami was better than anyone else we could put out. Behave.

Karius should have kicked for goal when their keeper floated a free kick from the half way line straight into his hands. It wouldn't have been sexy football, but would have been fucking boss

I said that to my son at the match. Karius missed a trick there!

It was indeed fairly quiet @Jack D Rips. There was the occasional song, but I think the crowd felt that the team shouldn't need much help.

People were getting up and leaving when there was five minutes left and we were pressing hard for a goal. It makes me wonder why these people go to the game.

I don't buy this showboating argument against Spartak. He was forced to sub Moreno early. He protected Lovren on 60 minutes. Whilst people may say better to protect one of the 'fab 4', we have decent depth in the attacking side of things, but we are struggling at CB with Matip's injury. It was a responsible decision. On 72 mins he subbed one of the 'fab 4'. He had to choose 1. He chose Firmino. Fair dos.

He could not have rested any more. This is another of those arguments that doesn't actually fit with the facts and situation in my opinion.

It almost makes sense, except Firmino, who was subbed against Spartak, didn't start against Everton.

Perhaps he had a niggle. We don't know, but I think we're wrong to assume that there was no thinking behind his decisions.

6 games in last 18 days, and another 6 in our next 20 days - yet somehow our best team has to play all the time.

The level of discourse in here hurts all parts of my body at times.

Well we were about 17nil up after 55 minutes against Spartak the other week and he thought it be a good idea to keep our key players on 4 days before the Derby when he inexplicably rested Coutinho & Firmino. Start them and try smash Everton early doors then take em off if need be.

Klopp's has a fucking stinker of a week, lets not pretend otherwise.
