“Trent Alexander-Arnold has become just the fourth Liverpool player to register at least three assists in the same Premier League match after Stan Collymore, Vladmir Smicer and Alberto Aquilani.”

Big up Aquaman.
And the youngest ever player to do it in the PL.

Who was it said we're gonna come third in a two horse race? Answers on a postcard. First right answer out of the bag gets a holiday in Alton Towers.
If i send a postcard you won't get it for 2 weeks and I'll have missed the closing date. So here it is : must be Hal !

Mane as a number 9 striker worked well and maybe the best option we have going forward
What seemed very different in this game was the way Mane was often together with Mo on the right, this overload of tricky attacking talent pulled their defence apart. It was an interesting new twist.

That happened before, I think around December Klopp was experimenting with Mane on RW and Salah as a striker and it created exactly the same kind of overload, only now the roles are reversed. Too early to say that it's definitely better with Mane as a striker and Salah on the right rather than vice versa, but I suspect it might prove to be. At least while Mane is on his hot streak it makes sense to play him as close to the goal as possible.

Well I do know that Dreamy has been banging on all pre-season about how Spurs are better than us and we wont finish ahead of them. He dropped it a bit after our initial amazing run, but hes still been pretty insistant they will finish ahead of us and are the best team in the league blah blah.
Zzzz

City are the best team in the league.

The competition closes in 5 weeks. Send your postcard to PO Box 6CM with your answer and the heading, 'Third in a Two-Horse Race Competition'.

He's scored a similar amount to Aspas.

Square that circle

No he hasn't.

Aspas has scored about 80 goals in La Liga, Suarez has 126.
In about the same amount if games.

He's outscored Aspas in every single season and it's not even close. It's not close this season either.

If you add in cup goals and European goals it's even more laughably not "similar" given he's scored about 100 more goals than Aspas.

Suarez joined one of the greatest attacking teams of all time.

Of course he has scored a bit more. He has the luxury of missing more excellent chances than anyone else in Spain this season and will still get plenty of goals.

He'd be exactly like the player everyone thought was most similar to him if he was in England. Alexis Sanchez.

I could score goals in Spain.

Youre a very odd person.

I was merely pointing out that I’ve never said Spurs were the best team in the league.

I predicted City 1st Spurs 2nd Us 3rd.

Hardly a million miles away considering most had Spurs outside the top 4.

Not that it really matters. Who gives a fuck. We are in with a shout with 10 games to go. I couldn’t be happier.

Was Suárez part of one of the greatest attacking teams of all time while in England?

Erm YEAH. He played for us!!!

In a season when we scored 101 goals, a club record and only 5 short of the record of City's 106, which was only set last season, and still the highest number of away goals ever scored in a Premier league season (48)

So it was in one of the greatest attacking teams of all time.

Origi. What an exasperating player he is. He's got a strong physique, pace, intelligence and good technique. But only when he's on form. When he's not, he's utterly dire. And it's not like finding rhythm, he just suddenly gets good, then goes back to being rubbish. What a bonus he'd be to us in the run-in if he put in a shift like he did last night. But I just don't expect it these days.
