VVD will come straight in and play like a motherfucking boss. He could play in his fucking slippers against this shower too.

Slippers and a bathrobe from the hotel he stays in. Would be a tad arrogant but still enough to win.

Yeah think he's going to play a bit of a shit team and they'll park the bus again. Hope that scoper Solanke isn't playing.

I hope Solanke starts and scores. That would be boss. He gets a bit to much stick on here for a kid thats developing and playing for a new club, imho.

I think he has definite potential, but he needs to gain a bit of confidence. His performance against Burnley just wasn't anywhere near good enough for a Liverpool forward. I'd give him a bit of time in the U23s.

He's definitely getting too much stick, but J the role Klopp wants him to play in, he's not good enough, & Ings offers more so deserves the nod over him on Friday.

If prefer Ings & Firmino both working their CB's all game then Solanke coming on for the last 15 where he could make more of a different in front of goal than him struggling to make an impact.

Although if Firmino starts perhaps he'd play Solanke further up as the striker he naturally seems to be, & help him find those goalscoring boots.

How did that make you feel, Macca? ha

I'm surprised Kelleher didn't get the nod if we're looking at throwing an underused keeper into the cauldron.

My line up prediction, looking at who played in the past 2 games and allowing for the fact that we have a 9 day gap til our next game

-------------Karius------------------- (but sounds like it will be Ward..)
TAA----VVD---Matip---Robbo
--------------Can-------------------
-------Milner---Lallana----------
Mane-----Firmino-----Ings

Can might be knackered, likewise Mane - but not sure who else could get the nod. Maybe Woodburn? Is Ings ready to start a game? I also wonder what Grujic needs to do to get a start? And others like Ejaria and Brewster?

If Klopp gets this wrong and we get beat I hope his butt plug withers and his Mrs refuses to whippy on his eyelid for Easter. If that's not incentive, I don't know what is.

I don't really understand what Ings needs to do get a chance. Solanke has been ok in the times I've seen him, but I think a fit Ings would give us more right now and maybe Solanke would benefit from even a few weeks with the under 23s. Hopefully he could bang in a few goals and build his confidence from there.

I want Klopp to experiment with Alex-Arn. He has gone on record as saying he doesn't know what his best position will be and I see the makings of a very decent DM'er.

Gomez.....................VVD.................Matip.......................Robertson...........
.............Milner...................Alex-Arn..................Lallana................
.........Ox-Chamberlain.........Ings..............Woodburn................

I don't know if now is the time, but he definitely has some excellent attributes for the position.

Would make for a tough debut for VVD to have TAA trying to learn DM in front of him. I wouldn't say no to seeing that front line, although if Firmino has it in him to lead the line i'd rather see him with two of them flanking him.

Yeah, getting knocked out so early in the League Cup and a relatively tough opening game in the FA Cup hasn't given Klopp much chance to blood some youngsters and experiment a bit..........still, it's only Everton.

Twitter rumours today that Woodburn if going to Sunderland on loan.

Incidentally does Friday's game have to be finished or can there be a replay?

Agreed - that sounds like an awful loan. They play a terrible brand of football, I don't see what he'd get out of it.
Why not Swansea? The Welsh love him, they need a player like him, and they are generally committed to a positive brand of footy.
