There's a few weeks until the CL final so if we get past Roma on Wed I expect us to go at Chelsea all guns firing.

No matter what happens at Chelsea if we beat Brighton then we finish Top 4.
 
We just have to ensure we don't get battered by Chelsea. We can even afford to lose there as long as we win against Brighton final day and put a few goals past them.

Right now the goal difference is +18 in our favour. They have 2 games in hand. Still in our hands.
 
To be fair to Klopp there wasn't much more he could have done tactics wise, same as West Brom game when you change too much away the team that has played consistently we lose that fluidity and flow. Hopefully, a draw against Chelsea should do it but what a game that will be!

Just another reminder that Mane, Salah, Firmino play as a trio. Without one, we don't look as dangerous or incisive.

That said, Salah missed a golden chance, as did Trent.

We should have won.

Thankfully we didn't lose. Beat Brighton and we're probably there on GD.

We are missing Ox, Lallana, Mane, Can, Robertson
You cant blame Salah and Bobby for being knackered and/or not being quite as committed as they could be given our next game.
Our formation was new and Stoke fought like fuck for the point and defended really well giving us almost zero chances.

Its another point Chelsea have to try and find somewhere and one point closer to the top 4

Was it great? no. Did we play well? No.
But none of the few first teamers we had out there got injured and we didnt really strain ourselves for Wednesday.

Over to the Blue shite now to see if they can get the three points per game they need

We have a good first 11, then fuck all else. Who didn't know that before tonight?
Part of me hope Salah doesn't break the Rush record, he's no Ian Rush.
 
Sorry to rant but I'm sick of Hendersons sideway pass master skill show...you waste time with unnecessary sideways passes...move forward and then look for a forward pass. But when you are surrounded squarely by three Liverpool players don't play it square to the guy on your left or right especially when we have the chance to break, move forward a bit with the ball. I dislike the way sometimes plays like Old Man Gerrard in his last season, you got legs use them!!!

He set up the best chance of the game and then looked off the pace after a bad knock.

Spurs have gotten more penalties at Anfield this season than us.
1 in 18 games. Quite bizzarre

I’m super bothered because that’s twice we could have basically ensured getting back into the CL next season and we didn’t do it....

I would fucking hate dropping out of next seasons tournament after playing so well all season.

Injuries have definitely cost us energy this year...

As well as bad refs again.

Cmon Swansea... you robbed us so... rob the Chelski cunts and get fully safe in the process.
 
My power was out for much of the second half. Thanks national grid. What's the situation with Henderson, he shake that off? Everyone else fine?

Okies maybe I took it too far but you get the jist....I know he isn't dynamic Gerrard in his pomp prime but he makes way too many unnecessary sideways passes that slow down the transitions. Yes, I know Henderson does also make a lot of positive long passes but it's not those moments I have a problem with its the amount of sideways passes that he completes, too many for my liking, I want him to run at opposition and drive with the ball more instead of laying it off sideways...Obviously, Keita will come into the team to play in front of Henderson to be that guy who drives at the opposition but I still wish Henderson would stop acting like Alonso lite, get on the ball more and drive at opposition especially against 'park the bus' teams. Surely there are other defensive screen midfielders that can run with the ball better than Henderson? There's one called Emre Can, and apparently he's impressed with the progress we are making this season and may sign for us lol
 
Had this game been at 3pm, we would have murdered them. Our records for early kick-off proves that.
The FA in their wisdom has done us no favors by arranging an early kikk off
