I'm not entirely sure who's the bigger monster out of Gomez and Vvd. Both imperious and making things look super simple
Shaqiri was impressive , it's still sinking in that we can make 3 changes for the first time in an eternity and not look like dogmuck, strong starting team , strong bench. Its nice to have someone who will drive into space made by the front free in oxs absence, although keita is obviously super keen to do similar
Henderson has been very impressive in consecutive matches ....
Firmino didn't want to be out wide one bit but made it work.
Robbo and Trent were sound , Gini is just seemingly getting better and better , is it the threat of keita , Fabinho and eventually ox that's doing it or what ?

I thought he was the best player on the pitch. I was actually wondering if there was some news on this. But the only explanation I find plausible is that the LC game's line up has him at the focal point and we want him rested.
That would be correct - he is definitely gonna start in the LC game, I can see Klopp giving Firminio a rest and play him central with maybe sturridge and salah. Mane will be rested.
