I've been very impressed, I really like the look of a Gini, Fabi midfield.Missed the start of the game, but Fabinho has been excellent from what ive seen

Because he doesn't play it sideways thats the fuck why.For me Fabinho is still too slow in his decision-making. In contrast, Gini has been great.

Well, if Shaq doesn't cement himself as a first teamer with this performance then I'll be very surprised. He's been great.
Elsewhere, Gini is on fire, just brilliant. Fabinho gets better & better, plus is offering a bit of a shock by looking to run forwards with the ball at times, certainly more so than you see Hendo doing.

What a half by him!
And by Shaq wow!
Almost certainly. I doubt he'd play this against every side, in fact I think we're more likely to see this used sparingly & a more solid side more often.Has Klopp found a way to incorporate Shaqiri into the team by switching to 4-2-3-1? This seems effective and Shaqiri has been our best creative for the last few games, something that has been sorely lacking. Now Salah can just focus on being a predatory striker, which is where he is at his best.

It does mean we can, in theory, bring Shaqiri on & switch to this formation to blitz sides should we need to.
I like his forward passing too - and also how comfortable he is driving forward with the ball. If he can get up to speed in other aspects, he’ll be quite a player for us.
It's no coincidence that it's this time last season we started to improve.@FoxForceFive - I am really enjoying this game. The team is full of forward thinking movers and passers. I am getting my mojo back.
Agreed, but it's a very energy intensive way of playing, which is exactly what klopp doesn't want week in week out this season, whilst the way we've been playing is much less fluid, & demands much less of the players & should help us later in the season as a result.Sure, but 4-2-3-1 can be a defensive system too; in fact last season that was the system we used after the Spurs drubbing in away games to be more solid. If Mane and Shaq can prove they are willing to defend when necessary, then why not?
same here
He's defo got *that* dm build.Ha, Fabinho’s legs are so long that he can effortlessly win the ball even after completely losing position.
