Another lovely ball from Shaqiri behind the defence to Robertson, who crosses calmly along the ground to pick up Firmino, who just hits it, and gets a slight deflection to take it away from the keeper.

What fucking play. Robbo is a fucking superstar.

Loved that take down & pass, then back to him & the cross. Brilliant.

Shame we couldn't finish but we're counter attacking at something close to full pace & Mane & Salah both look like they're finding that form again.

Should shoot there?

Anyone get on to that?

Salah fouled & dragged to the ground by his shoulder, gets up & doesn't even glance at it or hold it for a second. Great sign that.

Anyone thinking that at times this is more like a 4-2-3-1 with Firmino at AM, Salah at ST and Shaqiri out wide?

I think you’re exactly right. Which also means Gini and Fabinho are playing as a midfield 2, no DM.

Fuck me. Marvellous play by gini, lovely backheel from Mane to find Salah, who wasn't offside, but was called off as the keeper made another great one on one save.

I'm a little disappointed we have seen more of TAA bombing down the right, most of our moves have come from Shaq or from Robbo, TAA would be doing the same.

Crvena Zvezda playing with real courage at Anfield. Refreshing to see an away team attack in numbers and try to play attacking football here.

Early days, but he and Fabinho seem to click really well.
They do. As per the last match, Fabinho still isn't quite there positionally & as just demonstrated isn't quite used to the physicality, he needs to bulk up a bit or use more strength in his upper body cos he's shoved off the ball too easily at times.

Those points aside though, he's looking much much better.

For me Fabinho is still too slow in his decision-making. In contrast, Gini has been great.

Decent shot from Shaq but not enough on it to worry the keeper.

Shaq is basically playing a boxier, slightly more aggressive, version of Coutinho this evening.
