Tonight I am happy with the result - but this season has unfortunately shown me that against certain sides 3-0 to us at half time or during a game is not enough to guarantee us to win. Henderson being out does not fill me with confidence for the second half of this tie. Have to say in today's game when Ox hit that ball - did not even see the ball travel into the net it went so fast. There maybe issues about us getting lucky with the off-side decision, and the penalty decision (although now I think Sterling just fell on Robertson) - but I guess it's justice for the 5-0 thrashing we got that derailed our entire league campaign.

I know Sheik but all that possession shit tiki-taka bollox just fills me with nerves - after this season you always expect one of our players to have a brain fart. Could not even get the ball of those cunts and string 4 passes together in the 2nd half.

Sorry mate, but I'm familiar with Hmmmm and his constant miserable take on things. Why pick up on the refs performance rather than the terrific performances by any amount of Liverpool players?

Yeah, I didn't want to say this before the match, but Felix Brych is one of the best if not the best ref in Europe (refereed Champions League final last year) and he was almost faultless, letting the match flow, favoring the attacking team with borderline offside decisions, immune to pressure from either team and making it clear when he thought there was no fouls. Maybe some of the cards late in the game were not completely necessary, but generally this is how the games are supposed to be refereed.
