WTF. Awful? He gave the ball away once .. when trying to play a long through ball. Other than that we were camped in the final third for most of the match where all he was expected to do was recycle / distribute to the wings. I doubt many saw that you are referring to. Can't wait to see his stats for the game because I'm pretty sure they don't match up to your version of events.
Yeah I'm concerned about the way we lose possession in the middle of the park last few games. That's when you know we are having one of our bad days when we seem sloppy in midfield.
Atletico Madrid will be on it much more than Bournemouth and will punish us if we are sloppy like that as we have been at times this season.
Part of that is because of Hendo and the other part seems like we have lost a bit of intensity which is only natural I guess.

Yeah, obviously Milner should start, but without Henderson we may have to play the hopeless Fabinho, which isn't ideal.
And we have to score, so Mane and Salah will be crucial, but who could we play instead of Firmino, who isn't ever going to score? He's been fucking useless for ages, but I don't think Origi or Kato is the answer.
But we've also got the goalkeeping issue to attend, given that Adrian is laughably shit

Gini is a player who does the simple things well. In a team playing brilliantly he reflects that as he's always available. If we're shite, then he's limited by everyone.

Gini was fucking immense, esp in the first half today. Every decent chance we had was created by the right hand side, with taa & salah bombing on. Who do you think enables them to do that?
Everytime the ball was lost playing to them or from them when they bombed on he mopped up, which meant they could keep doing it.
Totally agree. He made run after run to open space. Ball never came to him so it's easy to miss - but much of our offense came through space he opened up.
There's a reason behind why his runs was sort of ignored by his teammates and also he was given so much space to run on, he will waste it more times than not. Just because he scored a couple for us against Barcelona does not make him Pele. At least 90% of the time when he gets forward, got the ball, ran into the box, only to stop, turn back and pass back to his teammates. He got the ball at the edge of the 18 yard box, while we're attacking. Instead of looking up, he tried to control the ball, spin back, spin front, arms out to shield the ball and retreat. He is the better version of Lucas.
