It was always the Brookhouse way back in the day (80s), then switched to that franchise for a bit (I left in 98 so that ties in), but clearly reverted back to norm sometime before 2006.
I celebrated my 21st birthday (in 1986) there with a scally mate, a shared half pint of lager and a shared mars bar from the petrol station over the road. Happy days

Yep - just down from the Smithdown Rd/Ullet Rd junction. We used to call the petrol station opposite the "all night mars bar machine" as it was 24hr

Nah, Squiggles has always worked in bars in Liverpool and I met him once in the King Harry with Sunny/Sean/lippy. Squiggles is legit but his ex boss might not have tickets left.
Mate that's amazing. I think we're looking at around 17/18 of us.
I thibk I speak for everyone when I say we're more than happy to pay our way if it helps. Either way you're getting free drinks all night if you pull this off!
Also, if you do get less I can reluctantly drop a couple of my mates off. SCM takes priority obv, plus they're local so if some posters can't come last minute we can let them know.

Got my mum to talk to her boss earlier. The guy (actually his name is Guy) is a multi millionaire (he's the fella who bought & moved the Lewis's grotto into St John's for those of you who are local) & a huge Liverpool fan but due to recent health issues he won't be travelling (his wife won't let him).
Hes currently deciding whether to buy out a bar in Liverpool or Chester (where he lives) for the CL final.
If he goes with the Liverpool option we'll be on the list.

FWIW that's not what I was aiming at, I was trying to see if he knew the owner of bierkeller or any of the big ticket only venues & would offer to get us on the guest list.
