Should post the pic in the players you can't remember playing for LFC. I can' remember about half of them?
Goalkeepers: Jerzy Dudek (1), Sander Westerveld (1)

Defenders: Fabio Aurelio (12), Jamie Carragher (23), Jose Enrique (3), Bjorn Tore Kvarme (3), Gregory Vignal (27), Stephen Wright (29), Abel Xavier (3).

Midfielders: Yossi Benayoun (11), Salif Diao (15), Stewart Downing (19), Luis Garcia (10), Mark Gonzalez (11), Steve McManaman (7), Jermaine Pennant (16), Maxi Rodriguez (11), Momo Sissoko (22).

Forwards: Dirk Kuyt (18), Anthony Le Tallec (13), Florent Sinama-Pongolle (24), Andriy Voronin (10).
 
McManaman isn't there. Assume he dropped out.

Remember all of them. A lot of them weren't great, but fair play to them all for still playing for the legends team, especially for charity.

I think Garcia pushed him close for that. He still has magic in his feet. The way he rounded the keeper (around 1:00) was superb. He should have had two and got the assist for Gonzalez's second and our third.
 
If those excerpts are genuinely representative of what went on, that was that über-tit Voronin's one and only decent game ever in a Liverpool shirt.
 
Add Gonzales to that other thread about did they even play for us.
I remember a grainy vid of him smashing it from 30/35 yards top corner..
And that's it..did he even score

I remember the hype about him before he arrived more than I remember him actually playing.

I take it you didn't watch that pre-season when he signed. I really thought we pulled a baller outta bargain bin before the actual competitive games began
 
You're right, I didn't, but then again I did see Aspas in pre-season and he looked the dog's then too. Just goes to show.
