Children. love them..
However trying to explain to my wife that our 5yr old daughter needs to stop coming up to our bedroom in the early hours 6am to 7am for cuddles so we can maintain privacy and our own sanity hasn't gone down at all well..
Enjoy these moments she says. They are precious.. She is right to a degree, but those moments can be given else where.. Just not every bloody morning in our bedroom activley encouraging it..
It all part of the bigger picture, she struggles to settle in the evening most nights often coming out of her room.. Always her mum she sounds out.. as kids do..
I have advised her to transfer the cuddles else where.. On the couch when we get out of bed, after breakfast.. Its all about encouraging her to stay and settle in her room. We are not saying we won't love her any less, just for Christ sake privacy and sleep..
To make matters worse I've a cat that likes to tell you at 5-6am she wants letting out or feeding, by meowing and then sitting on my head..
What to do.
