I just heard we've now lost 15 times this season.

is that right ?
Probably

Lost for words really.

To many players outthere not worthy of wearing the famous shirt.

I'm feeling sad.

Yet again he refuses to start with Aquliani. Anyone who moans that Benitez hasn't had the funds can go and jump off a very high building cos you're basically talking through your arse.
But Lucas deserves to start ahead of Aquilani even though again he contributed fuck all.

Well with any luck - the'll be so used to playing beach football that playing on grass might be a serious shock in the 2nd leg. That pitch was a shocker but I honestly don't think we played that bad. Ok so Kuyt had a shocker! Did absolutley nothing. Lucas and Insua did better in the 2nd half but thats not saying that much. Along with Kuyt they were the worst players by far on the pitch. Very poor.

Disagree about Babel - He was a little greedy at times but was proabaly our best player - along with Reina and Masher.

Special point for Torres. Class and brilliant but I hate his petulance. Deserved his yellow.

That is all

He's lost it, and it shows. The players doesn't believe anymore, and most of them are probably eager for a change.

I can't wait for this season to end, and I'm praying we get a new manager.

I was gutted to be missing the game. I don't know why. Got in just in time to get a taste of how crap we are, see us concede and lose. Wooo!

Poor us.

I've seen worse*

* but I can't remember when 😉

This is the most difficult season to endure that I can remember. We got used to being shit during Souness' reign and the team's performances deteriated over time under Houllier. The disaster that is this season is harder to bear because just 12 months ago we were fighting for the Title.

I've found many of Oncy's posts declaring his hate for Benitez rather distasteful because I will always like him as a man however his time as manager seems to be drawing to a close.

We need new owners, a new manager, a new captain, a new left back and another top striker. Not much to ask, is it?

I agree with that.

Only Insua and Lucas will want Rafa to continue.

We are entitled to feel sorry for ourselves.

This is grim.

Hopefully we can still progress after all.

I'm so fucking sick this time last year we were beating real 4 nil for god sake why has it all gone so wrong :'(

Come on concede 15 more so that the owners have to fire Rafa, and we can maybe use new manager scent to get to the top 4. Cause we aren't even getting Europa next year this way.
Grow up :🙂
It can be attributed to watching every game this season, however its a known fact that teams exhibit a honeymoon period after a new manager comes in. And we desperately need a run of games with the shackles taken off; hopefully resulting in some wins in order avoid extreme financial losses, more than it would cost to get rid of Rafa

Where is Aurelio?

Injuring himself whilst entering a cotton-wool store.

and kuyt, I doubt a new manager will tolerate his perpetual slumps in form like rafa seems to.

Kuyt should be dropped after these past two games, for an attacking player he has been totally anonymous!

broken, but I would even have given a Riera a go at LB (played there for Man City) this season before it got this bad.

ha ha still cracks me up he injuried himself playing with his kids. you can just see his 3 year old kid making a sliding tackle on him and taking him out

I'm sorry Wilko, I don't mean to be distasteful, I just can't take any more of this anti-football.

It really is just an hour and half of absolute tedium watching us these days.

I just have three questions I'd like answered if possible.
1.Why did everyone who underperformed AGAIN at the weekend keep their place?
2.Why did Aquilani not start?
3.Why did babel come off and not Kuyt?
Why did Aquilani not start?
Yet you'll still get some whoppers moaning that he doesn't have the luxury of strength in depth.

His treatment of Aquilani is a joke, I imagine Ryan or one of the others will come on here and slate "the disaster" but he surely could have offered more to this game than Gerrard and Lucas.
He did! And that's without him even making the pitch.
Can't play him when were doing well in case he damages our 'flow' can't play him when we aren't playing well cos we have to play those we know to try and get 4th, can't play him on bad pitches, can't play him away from home, can't play him against the big teams......hopefully first game of the season next year will be a home game vs Newcastle, he's a shoe in to get 60 mins in that one.
