Is he? He'll be 18 in 6 months. Sterling already had a few first team appearances by that age. By 19, he was almost a regular.Brewster is about four years away from first team football. And anything could happen in the intervening period.

Looks a bit of a fox in the box. Pity we don't have one of them in the first team.
Very unreasonable. No one even knows his best position yet. He's a bit of an enigma.Whilst checking exactly how old Brewster is (18 next April) I decided to check Ben Woodburn too and noticed he turned 18 last week. Is it unreasonable to expect him to feature regularly later in the season?
I love this video. He bursts into life whenever he senses a goal opportunity, and most of his goals come off first-time finishes. That's the sign of a natural goalscorer.
But nobody knows Gomez, Alex-Arn, Can or Karius's best position yet. If yer good enough you're old enough. Rooney made his debut for Everton at 16 and for United at 18, Rashford was 18 years and 3 or 4 months old when he got his break; Giggs was a regular for United at 18 and Deli Alli was a regular for MK Dons at 16.Very unreasonable. I'm not sure why you're banging on about this. I haven't seen or heard anyone doubt or dismiss him whatsoever. He might be a little overlooked by some, but anyone on here or otherwise I've seen/heard mention him does so with real excitement.
BOOOI look forward to him bursting onto the first team scene, having two great seasons then moving to Barcelona in a big money move. At least at that point we can enjoy Brewster's Millions.
I'm not 'banging on about it' - amazing how being positive about one of our own players is redescribed as some kind of weird character flaw.
Disgusted that this has been ignored.I look forward to him bursting onto the first team scene, having two great seasons then moving to Barcelona in a big money move. At least at that point we can enjoy Brewster's Millions.
When we DO get a young striker with huge potential, such as Rhian Brewster, people strain to dismiss or diminish his promise. 'He's just a kid, he missed the goal a couple of times the other day, blah blah blah'. When we don't get a young striker with huge potential he's recognised as a young striker with huge potential.
