Impressive turnaround in this group - lost the first 3, won the next 3 to make the knockout stage - with most points of any British team except ..... Aston Villa. What's the thought on Ibe - he sounds like he could do even better than Sterling.

Ibe did well - he's very positive and you can see with his speed he's got so much confidence to take defenders on. Coady was composed in midfield and kept things moving. Sokolik cleaned up at the back like a mate of Robocop. McLaughlin was fantastic. And of course Yesil was Yesil - superb!

Although you could say that about loads of kids on this team.

Rossiter also looks very talented.

I find it quite refreshing that more of you are starting to get interested in our youths and reserves. Dunno bout Macca but I was excited about seeing Suso, Wisdom and Sterling making their real débuts this season. A sense of pride I must admit, not surprising though since they pretty much were our star performers. Next in line McLaughlin. Oh forgot Robbo.

Yesil is starting to look like the player we imagined. McLaughlin was terrific. I think Ibe has every chance of making the grade. He has pace and trickery, but he also has a wonderfully delicate touch. That through ball after the run to McLaughlin (ending in a goal for Yesil) was an absolute bobby dazzler.

To me Ibe is just pure class. He seems to have everything you want in an attacker. I think he's the standout in a team of great prospects.
