Tbh I've lost all respect for SSN after the takeover/sale saga. As a news media they're as sensacionalist as the worst newspaper known to man.

Hicks appears to be so thick-headed I wonder if the importance of his son's actions have hit home. Though I do have an image in my head of senior repeatedly smacking junior on the back of the head at random moments as the memory kicks in.

I honestly doubt that. Hicks himself may be thick as pigsh!t but his lawyers and accountants will have made sure he has a small personal fortune salted away somewhere.

Not so sure how crucial this was. Had Minor still been a director in April, I believe RBS would have insisted on the board being structured in such a way that the trans Atlantic shite's votes could not veto a sale that Broughton deemed suitable.
