Like Avmenon has said, the crux of the issue boils down to whether there is a legally binding agreement between NESV and the Board.
If Mills Financial are hedge fund investors, I doubt it'd be foolish enough to throw money at Hicks on the back of yesterday's High Court ruling, without that issue being resolved.
Because, IF they have bought Hicks out and IF the NESV sale agreement is subsequently ratified, then it would have only thrown millions at Hicks with no football club to show for. Given that Hicks is a bankrupt and the queue of his creditors is likely to stretch across the country, Mills prospects of recovering their investment in full would also be bleak. I can't see them exposing themselves to this kind of risk.

Back to High court today and probably in US courts now too;

I'm not sure it would have been nailed on that we got the same judge for today's hearing. It's a good thing that we have. Hopefully Mr.Justice Floyd will not be impressed by an attempt to circumvent a judgment of his, and one which he gave little more than 24 hours ago.
