Well given every fucking ITK spaz in Liverpool had Agger and/or Skrtel leaving this window and this WINDOW shut 26 minutes ago id say its bang on fucking topic.Whereas your thread topic is completely relevant and appropriate at this time.
Good man KingDing.Fucking lets have it red men. We'll win every game 1-0.

Im sure youll figure it out and find some way to moan about it next week or something.
Fuckwit.
il do it if i can wear that strap on sword dildo thing from se7en
First things first.Well Skrtel signed a new contract a week or two so there's been no questions about his future today and City appeared to have ended their interest in Agger a few weeks ago, plus they signed a young Serbian centre back today, so again, nothing to worry about there.
Great news that they're staying of course, but it doesn't make it okay for us not to bother signing a striker one day after letting a £35m investment go out on loan. Not to me anyway, maybe to you.
Going to win the league are we?
First things first.
This isnt a thread about signing players. Its about keeping our two centre backs.
Secondly. Wether I think it is 'ok' or not is neither here nor there. Our manager doesnt rate Carroll or want him at that club. And would have known before today what that entailed. Im not going to fucking sulk about it.
Our manager believes that Sahin, Allen, Borini and Assaidi plus the kid we've signed are the players we need.
So im happy to give him a chance BEFORE I start bellyaching and stamping my feet about players in or out.
i love it when people keep talking about the money we spent on carroll, as if he's actually a £35 mill player, he's a fuckin liability, better off with morgan

What point am I missing?Again, missing the point, of course Rodgers is happy with his signings, i'm not denying that but as he said earlier in the week, we're still lacking strength in depth after all the outgoings.
He obviously expected a few signings today and unfortunately, he hasn't been backed by the owners.
....
It's insane and Rodgers will understandable be fuming, especially after Rodgers seemed to be confident of getting one or two players in today.
What point am I missing?
THE MANAGER - Happy with what he has done.
GARY OFF THE INTERNET - Not happy.
=
What?
WHAT EXACTLY AM I MISSING?
Finally a good post from Moron. Was he really ? I'm not sure anymore, I think he is the sort of guy that also has a valuation in mind for a players value that I think 'he' has. Looking back at the Siggy signing that we missed on becuase of Spurs coming in - he could have told the owners 'Yes' we do need him but chose not push it as he was not prepared to pay the wages being demanded. I cannot believe that the LFC board would not sanction an extra 1M (immediately for the 5M up front as reported by the Echo) to buy a player that Brendan would have really wanted. If we think about it - he could have bought Clint before he bought Borini but thought Borini was more important. I don't think he is bothered at this stage as I belive he is going to be more focussed on getting the existing players use to his systems, which he believes will eventually create the chances for our existing strikers to score. If we still cannot score enough by January then I think the board will sanction a purchase in January.

To me it seems you're intimating Rodgers will be completely satisfied with our business in the transfer window and imo he won't be as he didn't get in a striker or two which he himself admitted we need.

Well, we still got Agger. Most people had him as gone.
Choice between Agger & a striker, if keep Agger tbh, though I doubt everyone would agree.

'Y'all know me. Know how I earn a livin'. I'll sign this fucker for you, but it ain't gonna be easy. Bad wages. Not like going down the pool chasin' Dempseys and Heskeys. This wage, swallow you whole. Little shakin', little tenderizin', an' down you go. And we gotta do it quick, that'll bring back your fans, put all your businesses on a payin' basis. But it's not gonna be pleasant. I value my neck a lot more than three thousand bucks, chief. I'll find him for three, but I'll catch him, and sign him, for ten. But you've gotta make up your minds. If you want to stay competin, then ante up. If you want to play it cheap, be on welfare the whole winter. I don't want no volunteers, I don't want no mates, there's just too many captains on this island. $10,000 for me by myself. For that you get the head, the legs, the whole damn player.'
Not feeling it, sorry. Goals win games
The two ballet dancers!Stevie Gee looks like he's missed the ball with a wild toe-poke. Which is par for the course for our forwards these days.
