Who drafts these rules ? It beggars belief.
-----------

Liverpool will finally host Fulham on Wednesday evening, 46 days after its original scheduled date, but the match will not be shown live in the UK.
It is the final late kick-off at Anfield for the Reds on Wednesday when they host Fulham (8pm BST) and look to extend their winning run to five matches.
This league clash was originally postponed back in March due to the Cottagers’ involvement in the FA Cup quarter-finals.
The fixture had been scheduled for Saturday, March 18 with a 3pm kickoff, which is why it now cannot be shown live despite its change of date.
Its original start time fell under the domestic blackout rule, created to protect lower league attendances, having not been selected for television by either Sky Sports or BT Sport.
It cannot be changed and added to the broadcast schedule in the UK, despite it having since been moved to a midweek evening, as the rule still applies.

That’s farcical

Jota injured is a big loss
He’s not confirmed out, it’s the same knock he suffered early in the West Ham game which he continued with.

If he’s not 100% not biggy, he can take few more days to recover for Brentford, Nunez or Diaz more than capable filling in.

Have to assume Jota is out based on Klopps update. If he's been struggling with a back issue since the West Ham game and unable to train then he really should be rested. I expect Hendo to come back in for Elliot and maybe Matip for Konate given the defensive horror show against Spurs. Pretty much every body has to stay the same as there aren't really any viable alternatives.

I don't think Konate had a horror show at the weekend ? The system with Trent moving central means Konate literally has to marshall 33% or so of our half of the pitch, it's obviously chaos when you have willing runnings like spurs did

He got more and more frazzled as the game went on. But that's understandable because got worse and worse as a cohesive unit. He was still better than vvd

Mitrovic is suspended for this one, right? Can't believe I'm saying this but it feels like a huge let off after the reverse fixture and the recent Awoniyi debacle

Yes Mitrovic still banned.

Ream out with broken arm
Pereira out with broken leg.
Willian 50/50 with hamstring

I'm not bothered who starts between Matip and Konate - both are good enough, whoever looks best and freshest in training.

Midfield would be : Fabs, Thiago and Jones. If Hendo is in the team he'll spend most of his time running up the wing and hitting overhit crosses instead of covering for Trent.

Jota can not start with any hint of an injury. Bench at best. Diaz, Gakpo (for his link-up play against a low block) and Mo.

VVD is the big worry, he looks less than half the player he has been. Hopefully, he uses this game to turn doubters around

Thiago is done for the season.

Hip flexor surgery.

Thiago in the Premier League since arriving at Liverpool:
• 20/21: 20 starts
• 21/22: 17 starts
• 22/23: 14 starts

Yeah, Thiago has done his part for us. Fantastic player but we cant have someone that plays about 1/3 of the games on 200k + per week.
