Did Nunez actually ever play? Hard to recall.
As soon as Coutinho went off any measure of control left us and for every pass played forwards there were 2 played backwards. Very disappointing but pretty predictable really, we always seem to get punished when we don't take our chances.
Ah yes, it's Liverpool, with all the joy of picking a scab several days too early.
He's been shit - but so has everyone else who's been partnered with Klavan.
I know our defence are (rightly) getting shit, but fuck me Henderson is not even remotely adequate as a DM. He's appalling under pressure.

Oh well ... I turned it off ... Another game (yup, including City) where we should have been out of sight within the first 30 minutes ... and here we are, now 4 games on the trot with no wins ...
A few takeaways:
1) we could put de gea in goal and it wouldn't make a difference.
2) klavan is so poor ... I'd rather we play with 10 players and just not bother with him.
3) flanno wasn't bad - but he should move on. This level is too high for him - shame.
4) Hendo & Gini cannot play together in the middle 3 against teams like this. They are not creative enough, too timid on the ball, create little off the dribble and don't add that much in defense or offense. Both need to be back ups - just not good enough.
5) I like the look of Grujic - comfortable on the ball, gets stuck in. Send him out on loan so he can play games - otherwise, he'll waste his talent.
6) Nice cameo from coutinho
7) Ox looked decent but looks like he has no final ball.
8) Solanke looks talented.
9) Feels like shit right now with this teams ... The problems are so glaring - poor/inept defending & pathetic finishing. Recipe for shit.
