Liverpool vs Leicester Saturday 15:00
Burnley vs Liverpool Monday 15:00
Liverpool vs Everton (FA Cup) Friday 19:55
3 tricky fixtures in 6 days. How do you rotate to gain the maximum points from the 2 EPL games and then have enough in the tank for the Blueshite in the cup? Even more difficult without Hendo and only one fit left-back, although there is still a chance Hendo is fit for Everton. Last year Klopp played pretty much unchanged team at Sunderland, I think, with only 1 day rest and we looked tired and drew, which set up a horrible run of results in January. He will be keen to avoid a similar outcome.
I would go all guns blazing against Leicester, probably start the whole "fab four" at home and prepare for a close and hotly contested game against a well-coached counter-attacking team. Sub off Salah after 60 minutes no matter what. Then at Burnley, I would change most of the team and try to win in a completely different way – by forcing Burnley to have the ball and counter-attacking in small numbers, hoping our finishing will be sharper than theirs. It could be nice to play Ings up front against his former club and we could use his energy alongside Salah and Sturridge. This could also be an interesting spot for Grujic, since we lack bodies in midfield and his height and long-range passing can be an asset.
For Leicester:
4-2-2-2
------------------Karius----------------------
Trent----Matip--------Klavan----Robbo
--------------Gini-----Can------------------
Mane--------------------------Coutinho--
-------------Salah----Firmino-------------
For Burnley:
4-2-1-3
-------------------Mignolet-------------------
Gomez-----Lovren----Klavan----Milner
---------------Gini-----Grujic---------------
--------------------Oxlade-------------------
------Salah-----Sturridge-----Ings-------
