The thing that gets me with Chelsea, is the fakeness and arrogance of it all.. plastic flags.. classless.. I just hate them..

Nothing would be sweeter to see them losing both finals and finishing 5.. Could be the end of Chelsea as we know it, if these FFP rules kick in like they are supposed to do..

It's harder than I thought because there are three or four factors to consider: hate the 'club' or just the fans or just their current team or their owners or the club's politics.

Like Barca for example. I just don't like the team, although I know they're brilliant I love seeing them lose but I quite like the club, history, politics etc. so I can't really claim to hate them.

Arsenal is another example, I like the club, its history and so on, but not the fans or the manager.

I think as Gene already said the whole hate bit is usually a combination of club, team, manager and fans.
In Chelsea's case, where as the club itself isn't particularly hateful per se, recently they have had an obnoxious cunt as a manager, have more than their fair share of despicable players while at the same time constantly coveting our best ones, and their fans seem to be mostly Millwall nouveau riche.
It is far from just recent success that is moving them up the league of hate.

You may say the money thing, but I would honestly rather we won doing it the right way - the way it should be done. Legitimately, and building up our fortune by being the best ran club, having the best players and staff. That is so much more satisfying than a sugar daddy coming in and treating us as a toy. So that negates the 'jealous of money' argument.

And as for Everton being top of everybody's hate list? I respect that club (most of the time), they're very good to us over Hillsborough. I have friends and family who are Bluenoses, and a lot of their players are largely inoffensive. There are more cunty clubs out there than Everton.

Well I agree about the Man Utd bit but I actually rather like Everton. It shouldn't come as any shock that I'm an OOT. I admit their line of doing quite well with a really small budget grates but fair play to them. The fans don't seem that bad to me. Then again I live in London so don't get to hear all the inner city banter that a lot of Liverpool dwelling reds put up with. Their ground is a fucking abomination though I have to say.
