League table of hate

To be fair I think Linfield probably are the most hated team in that league. Back in 1998 (I think it was that year) Cliftonville drew 1-1 with Glentoran on the final day of the league and needed Linfield to drop points in their match. When the Glens fans were leaving they were wishing Cliftonville fans luck for the result. A common hatred across the barricades.

I went to a number of Irish cup finals in the years they turned into riots (80s). The Linfield fans were fucking horrible bastards.

Man United are obviously top of any hate table, which in itself makes me hate them even more. Even in a league of cunts they win it easily!

Spurs would be second. I've always hated them.

I hate Chelsea more after last night. Not because they won, I don't mind that at all, but because I ended up in a pub with Chelsea fans and they were all really horrible.

ManUre. Used to hate Everton too but can't be arsed [neil pl.note spelling] any more. None of the rest were ever worth the trouble.

I'd add Sunderland to the list. There's no point to that club and we almost always mess up when we play them.

There was a bluenose in the pub watching the game last night. Never heard such garbage come out of a mans mouth.

Used to live in Spain for 12 years, "Barca is my second team, I have 3rd and 4ths as well". Fuck off.

Nearly cried when they didn't get through. Also "Mascherano is not Barcelona quality, because he came from Liverpool"

Nearly chinned the prick.

I do hate Everton. I didn't used to, but now they just fuck me off. I hate their sniveling, their jealousy and their constant sniping. It's funny in a way but they've got such a chip on their shoulders (and let's not forget, we stopped them dominating Europe forever), that I just find it all pathetic. I've got a fair amount of blues on Facebook, and they always talk about us more than their own side. The 'Peoples Club' - Yeah, that would be why your fans started walking out with five minutes to go at Wembley when there was only a goal in it.

I had some wonderful experiences with Linfield fans in the late 80's - like one trying to open his beer bottle on the back of my head. Wonderful chaps.

A lot of our fans remind me of them these days Mark. More bitter about others than interested in us.
Sniping about Spurs, Newcastle, Chelsea etc but laying into their own TROPHY WINNING team.
I dont think im really all that 'In step' with our 'worlds greatest support' anymore.

Gillingham? What's the problem with them?

Unless you mean the town itself, in which case, fair enough. Understood.

I lived in Chatham for a while and went to the Priestfield a couple of times. Horrible fucking fans, horrible ground, don't get me started on the town. They made me hate them.

No idea what Gillingham is like now but 18 years ago it was the grimmest town I've ever seen in Ireland or England (and that includes Scunthorpe!).

Not been there for a few years either, and I don't live that far away. I can't imagine things have improved that much though!
