He took Villa to the top of the league for half a season. Had that happened while we were looking for a new manager, he'd have been a shoo-in.

Hull have ruled that out tonight. They've also said they hope to appoint by Wednesday. Gary Megson's being mentioned - apparently he was nearly appointed when Brown was still caretaker.

Incidentally, does the >🙁 suggest you actually WANT Curbishley?
