I like Dirk, but I'd take 10M for him and invest in a younger talent.
 
10m is good money for Kuyt at this stage in his career. It's this or let him go for free at the end of his contract.

It's one thing getting 10 million for him but what would we be likely to spend that on? Half a Downerson?
 
Dirk's a great lad however 10m is a wonderful offer for a limited player of his age who is not an automatic starter.
 
Dirk's a fantastic professional. He is full of heart, never gives up and gives 100% for the full 90 minutes.

Sell him!!! ;D

Why do you hate Henderson so much?
 
I'd miss him, one of the most admirable footballers out there. That said 10 Mill at his age, we should take it.

I'm concerned this season that he seems to be on the way down, could be a slump like, but he's the right age to start trending down after his peak.

id say sell but it all depends who we get in really doesnt it, also if the owners dont need an extra 10 mill (they might have a stash anyways) then keep him around for the craic

I was referring to a Downing / Henderson hybrid.

But yeah, I was being unfair to Downing.

I was highlighting how little 10m is when you entrust it to people who have spent a lot of money on a lot of crap. It's not a matter of hate, Henderson just isn't very good.
 
I'd be in favour of it if I thought we'd do better with the 10m, we won't, and Kuyt will go on a run of good form and make lots of people look a little silly anyway.

there a few months to go before that happens. the good form usually kicks in around march.
