50% right. He'll score more than Jones, no fucking doubt. He has started tracking back and has added a lot to his game this season, and the Rangers fans have responded by making him a favourite. However, everyone knows he is completely incapable of playing as a lone striker. Even in shit hot form, he has rarely started at Celtic park, because Smith prefers a 4-5-1 and Boyd cannot be that 1. He needs a workhorse beside him, so in theory would work well with Dirk. However he could never be asked to deputise for Torres, he would need a system that plays to his strengths.
