Except I'm amazed you found a pic of Mick (sort of) smiling. That bloke could make a miracle sound downbeat: Well, yeah, Jesus Christ came back from the dead, and, fair enough, the lad did nothing to let himself down out there with the water trick and the ale 'n' fishes and all that, but maybe tomorrow he'll break down and get drunk. It's true. That's why I picked that picture of him. It creates an optical illusion whereby Sam the Eagle's grimly set features mean that he actually looks more like Mick than Mick does.

However, to not get Klose who can score against anyone, is great in the air and as good on the ground as anyone perplexes me. To suggest Podolski in his place just confuses me - he'd be more frustrating than Baros. I don't care what his statistics say, he misses an absolute truckload of chances and owed everything he got at the last WC to Klose.
I like Klose, and honestly if we lose Masch and don't get an already developed replacement there may be days were we need to drop Gerrard back, and having Torres in the 10 hole wouldn't bother me for a game. I like to try and get as many goals in a team as possible.
