Bayern Munich striker Miroslav Klose has hinted that when he eventually leaves the Bavarian club, he would like to join either Liverpool or Inter Milan.
The prolific goalscorer told Kicker that although he is currently happy at the Allianz Arena, he does have a fondness for the English side, as well as being a fan of Nerazzuri coach Jose Mourinho.
The 31-year-old has scored goals wherever he has been in his career, and has bagged 20 since moving to Bayern in 2007.
He also boasts an impressive international record, scoring 48 times in 92 games for Germany.
"I am very happy at Bayern Munich and I intend to stay," he said.
"But it is normal that in Europe, there are other big clubs of the highest level.
"I have two teams that I follow with pleasure and curiosity.
"In England, it is Liverpool and in Italy, I like the Inter of [Jose] Mourinho, who I consider to be a great coach."
The January transfer window represents the first opportunity for Reds boss Rafa Benitez to ease the goal-getting burden that Spanish ace Fernando Torres has to shoulder, and Klose could be a superb acquisition.
Similarly, Mourinho has spoken of his frustration at the lack of strength in depth in Inter's striking department. With Diego Milito injured, he is almost certain to strengthen in attack come the new year, and Klose, given his recent comments is a definite option.
