Klopps to Leave at the End of the Season

Does anyone actually know any LFC fans who don't like him? I used to work with one who couldn't stand him. Scouser and a season ticket holder for donkeys years - she didn't just not like him, she actually stopped going to the game because of him.

She might be the only fan in the world who's actually happy today. The crazy bitch.
Yes, this guy

Genuinely gutted - my stomach went through the floor when I read the headline on my news feed. I simply can't imagine LFC without Klopp.

I'm gutted but also proud and grateful. What a lkoss he'll be BUT we are Liverpool and we'll move on. I really hope Alonso can be persuaded..... I have my doubts though

Nobody has represented the values of the club as well as Klopp has since Shankly. His social outlook, his relationship with the support to the extent he has called out the support when he has felt the team needed more (or that they were singing about him instead of the players). He fitted us like a glove, and no matter who comes in and how great they are, that's just not going to happen to the same extent many times in the history of this club. Perhaps never again. So tonight I'll raise a beer and toast the gods for making Klopp the Liverpool manager in my time. Shanks was too early for me, but I got to see another true legend take the reins.

I’m desperately clinging to the hope that someone says that they were just having a laugh with an AI Generated Klopp

One of the saddest days of my life.

It's an end of an era.

I'll probably never bother with football anymore after we win the quad this season.

There will never be another Klopp. He's one of a kind and anyone who knows a thing or two about football will say the same too.

This will be the season of many changes. In our own personal lives, and now it's beginning with our beloved club.

Look no-one can fill these shoes. And that makes it easier.

I know some people want to blame FSG, but I really think the life of a modern manager is just so all-consuming.
He's been talking sabbaticals a long time. That'll be my next vain hope; that hell return.

I didn't think he'd extend his contract, but I didn't see this one coming. We are going to see him in a year or so with another team. That I can't fathom.

Yes, that will be tough to see. He did say he wouldn't manage another English team though, so hopefully he won't. That will be something at least.

I can't help thinking about when he first came and it was obvious it was going to be something special.

If we'd have known then he would be here for 9 years, and he'd accumulate the trophies he has (so far), we'd have been over the moon. What a journey. What a man. It's been a privilege to watch.

Great post. Cheered me up that. It was way before my time it and I know it's different because it just is but everyone thought it was the end of world when Keegan left and look what happened there..,,.. Whomever does come in, there is one thing that is certain.... The team is very much in the groove from senior players to the youngsters.,... All thanks to Klopp. He'll leave us with a very very cool foundation. Cheers Jurgen.
