Lol, the immediate impact vvd has made? How about the fucking gazillion goals salah has scored since joining? Isn't that immediate enough for you??

No. Immidiate is immidiate. People were actually complaining about Salah's finishing last Aug/Sept and October. And he has been part of a fantastic attacking unit where his two fellow musceteers has carried a lot of the brilliance. VVD came in, scored the winner against Bitters in the first game and we hardly let in a goal after that.

But please note that I have no intention of talking down the Salah's and Alissons of the world. They are valuable assets in our quest for glory!!

fuck's sake - the merge didn't work! HA HA HA
Oops
Worst of all, you deleted the post with the poll

Anyways on topic. I can't decide. I think Mo because of all those goals and how no-one could have known he'd be so brilliant, it was a perfect bit of scouting. VVD and Allison were brilliant buys, but also the most expensive in their positions in the world so you kinda expect them to be great. Not that this guarantees anything so again, great signings. Shaq and Robbo because of their price to bossness ratio.

As that Chinese general said, it's far too early to say. Ask again in ten years.

Madness , salah broke records last season , vigil has been brilliant but Salah for half the price has to be the best signing given his impact / goals

This thread was in the back of my head whilst watching the game. And I opened it to post more or less what you've said.

In value for money terms Robertson is far and away the best signing. He was the rough diamond that we spent half a season polishing but it's been worth it. He's now a top notch all round left back. There's no need for ifs buts or anything else.
He was superb against Sterling tonight and that assist for the goal was just perfect - he had every right to shoot but played a perfect ball across when he had no room for error.

Salah has been outstanding, his goalscoring doesnt need mentioning , but me it's the workrate and the intelligence and discipline in the defensive side that was the really pleasant surprise. He could easily have been a diva after last season but he hasn't changed.

Salah would have been my pick but I think the manner in which VVD has cemented himself into the back four and (alongside Robertson) instantly changed our defence marks him out as our most important player for me. He's phenomenal.

Sad for Ox he could have been on this list had it not been for his injury.

Is it just me are is Ox not getting too much love on this site. Fair enough he had a great run of 5/6 games before he got injured but before that a lot us were questioning why we signed him.

There was no guarantee he would be a great player for us.

Agreed, he benefits from looking best right before being injured, scoring a worldy, and playing in the only really weak position in the side.

If keita could string a couple of decent performances together and score a worldy, I'm ready to knee jerk and knob hop.

To buy the world's 4th-best attacking player in the open market, for £37M, is insane. With all due respect to Virgil, Robbo and Alisson, Salah will always be Klopp's best purchase.

That’s a bit silly and shortsighted.

One he wasn’t bought as the 4th best player in the world for 37m, we made him into that and arguably he isn’t that anymore.

He was out of this world last season. This season he’s been good but nowhere near the same level.

If we win the league this season VVD will be the best signing as ultimately Klopp will be judged on trophies not how many goals we score

That's the stats for the calender year 2018 you knuckle head , i.e till last week !

He has 13 goals and 8 assists in 21 league games , that is still boss.

Your last paragraph is child like reasoning : if we win the league this season Salah will be the best signing as ultimately Klopp will be judged on trophies , not how many goals we conceded

See, I can do it too.

That is as accurate as to say we gave away number 33 om the list for free... a player producing more than Pogba
